Dating approximately to the 19th century, The White Oracle is one of twelve surviving Tibetan divination cards.

A white-robed figure sits cross-legged against a deep red ground, framed by the distinctive geometric border shared across the collection. Compared with some of the more ferocious figures in the series, the image is strikingly calm and contemplative.

White carries powerful associations in Tibetan Buddhist imagery, including purity, peaceful activity and pacification. Figures depicted in white can therefore represent a very different kind of spiritual power from the flames and wrathful forms seen elsewhere in the collection.

That contrast is what makes The White Oracle so compelling. There is nothing overtly dramatic about the figure, yet its stillness, symmetry and stark white form give the card an almost hypnotic presence.
PRINT & PAPER

Every BaxCo print is produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308gsm, a heavyweight, 100% cotton fine-art paper with a beautifully soft, lightly textured matt surface. Acid- and lignin-free and compliant with the ISO 9706 standard for age resistance, it is specifically designed for museum-quality fine-art reproduction.

We print using archival pigment inks for exceptional colour, tonal depth and detail. Together, the paper and pigment inks create a print designed to resist fading and retain its character for generations when properly cared for.

Printed-to-order prints
Please allow 3–5 working days for your print to be produced and prepared for dispatch. UK orders are then sent using a tracked 48-hour service.

International delivery
We ship worldwide. Delivery times vary depending on destination and will be shown at checkout.

Each print is carefully packaged to protect it in transit. We want you to be completely happy with your print. If your order arrives damaged or there is a problem with your purchase, please contact us and we will put it right. If you change your mind, prints may be returned in their original condition within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us before returning an item. Custom-sized prints are produced to order and cannot be returned unless damaged or faulty.
