The Botanical Series
I love botanical illustrations, particularly these nineteenth century examples in this collection. There is something about the extraordinary detail, colour and precision of these images that makes them incredibly beautiful in their own right, but the interiors/aesthetics geek in me also loves how they can transform a space.

Botanical prints are brilliant for bringing colour, texture and life to a wall. I particularly like hanging them around house plants, where the illustrations and the plants take on a symbiotic relationship which is far greater than the sum of its parts. The result is a more layered, natural interior. If you love filling your home with plants, these prints are a fantastic way of carrying that feeling up onto the walls.
Hang one on its own to brighten up a white wall, group several together to create an internal garden, or do what I do and let them grow into the plants around them.
